apt-dater-dbg software package provides terminal-based remote package update manager (dbg symbols), you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install apt-dater-dbg
apt-dater-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the apt-dater-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep apt-dater-dbg *
You will get with apt-dater-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
